Taylor Swift saves the day: Puts out kitchen fire in NYC home after hard partying with friends
Taylor Swift is definitely not afraid of a little fire, as proven when she and Gracie Abrams had to deal with a fallen candle that had caused a blaze in her New York home. According to Gracie, it was close to 6 a.m. when they had to put their girls’ night on pause to handle the situation. They had heard the candle fall earlier in the evening, but Taylor initially thought it was just one of her cats making noise.
Fortunately, Taylor was quick to grab an extinguisher and put out the fire before anyone got hurt. Gracie praised her, saying: “She was such a legend. I don’t know how at this hour or in our state she knew what to do.”
The evening also included some fun moments, as Gracie recalled singing and dancing with Taylor to her unreleased Tortured Poets Department album. They even collaborated on a new song called “Us,” which originated from an instrumental track sent over by producer Aaron Dessner.
Gracie shared: “Something caught our ear at the same time very hard and fast. So, we ran to the piano and started writing this song… I used to fantasize about that kind of thing as a kid.”
