Travis Kelce, the star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, has signed a contract extension with the team, making him the highest-paid tight end in the NFL. Kelce expressed his excitement about the deal in a video posted on the Chiefs’ social media, where he donned the team’s jersey and cap, exclaiming, “Back out at the game, baby!”
Kelce, who has been with the Chiefs for 12 years since being drafted in the third round of the 2012 Draft, described it as an honor and a pleasure to continue playing for Kansas City. “I can’t wait to get after this next two years, but no better than right now,” said the player.
The former Cincinnati Bearcat expressed his eagerness to start the upcoming season and hit the field with his teammates, saying he just wanted “get on the field with the boys, baby.”
