The world’s No. 1 WTA player is a big Swiftie
Iga Swiatek, the world’s number one tennis player, recently shared her exhilaration after attending Taylor Swift’sEras Tour in Liverpool.
The concert, held at Anfield football stadium, left the five-time Grand Slam champion starstruck and thrilled, but it also had an unexpected impact on her pre-Wimbledon routine.
Swiatek, who is gearing up to capture her first Wimbledon title, revealed how the experience of seeing the pop music icon live kept her up all night with excitement.
“It was amazing. I actually was thinking about going here for the second time. My team was like, ‘Okay…’ Basically after this concert, like three days after I was so excited I couldn’t sleep and everything,”Swiatek recounted with a smile.
Despite the sleepless nights, Swiatek was beaming with joy as she described the concert as a “great experience.”
