Sophie Turner praises Taylor Swift as ‘absolute hero’ for offering New York home to her and children amid Joe Jonas divorce.

The actress praised the singer for her support amid her divorce as she gushed: ‘Taylor was an absolute hero to me this year.’

Sophie explained that when she needed a place to stay in New York with her two daughters Willa, three, and Delphine, 22 months, she asked Taylor if she knew of a place she could rent.

Without hesitation Taylor offered up her own home in the Big Apple for free.

Sophie said of the gesture: ‘I’ve never been more grateful to anyone than I am for her because she took my children and me, and provided us with a home and a safe space.

‘She really has a heart of gold.’

Taylor dated Sophie’s ex in 2008 as it was later revealed that Joe had broken up with her during a 27-second phone call after just three months of dating.

Also in the monthly, Sophie laid bare her battle with depression and anxiety and opened up about the agony that she felt during her Joe divorce fallout – admitting there were days when ‘she didn’t know if she would make it.’

The pair had shocked the world when they announced that they were divorcing in September 2023.

Immediately, the internet became ablaze with speculation regarding what had gone wrong – and it only got worse after reports emerged that said the musician had caught the actress ‘doing something’ suspicious on their Ring security camera.

Now, Sophie has spoken out about the media storm surrounding the split, and she admitted that she struggled immensely with ‘mom guilt’ and described that time as the ‘worst few days of her life.’
