Just In: Trump Threatens Beyoncé With Prosecution Over $11M Kamala Harris Endorsement

President Trump is going after country music singer Beyoncé over an alleged $11 million payment from former Vice President Kamala Harris.
In a post on his Truth Social app over the weekend, Donald Trump lashed out at Beyoncé, Oprah, and Rev. Al Sharpton for allegedly accepting payments to endorse Harris for president in 2024.
Trump claimed Beyoncé received $11 million to perform for less than 20 minutes at a political rally for Harris in Houston. He also said Oprah got $3 million to interview Harris, and Sharpton took $600,000 from the Harris campaign.
Trump said accepting money for political endorsements is “completely illegal” and Beyoncé was “not permitted to do so.”
Trump said “politics would be a mess” if every candidate paid celebrities to endorse them.
He also went after TV news networks that allegedly accepted payments from the Harris campaign. Trump said their broadcast “licenses could, and should, be revoked” for covering up for Harris
However, receipts show Harris paid Beyoncé’s production company $165,000 for “event production” at the rally in Houston. Additionally, a Harris campaign staffer told Deadline.com they don’t pay for celebrity endorsements. No wrongdoing was ever proven.
A Harris spokesperson referred CNN to a an Instagram post by Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, who called the claim of a $10 million payment a “lie”.
According to CNN, no federal law prohibits payments for endorsements.
Trump continues to call for the prosecution of his political opponents – after multiple Democratic prosecutors indicted him on RICO charges leading up to the 2024 elections on Nov. 5, 2024.
