Jason Kelce says Taylor Swift’s fame can be ‘overwhelming,’ raves about her ‘remarkable’ talent… see more
Jason Kelce admitted Taylor Swift’s level of fame can be “overwhelming” at times amid his brother Travis Kelce’s relationship with the pop star.
In a new interview, the retired Philadelphia Eagles center, 36, was asked about constantly being surrounded by cameras now that Swift is in his life.
“It’s a lot. There’s a lot of people paying attention at all times, which is positive and negative at times,” he told “94WIP Morning Show” co-hosts Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie on Thursday.
Jason noted that trying to “be private and live your life” can be nearly impossible on occasion.
“But I think that she’s built up such a fan base and a contingency and an amount of people that really, really just, like, love her that it’s really cool at the same time,” he said.
The former NFL player joked that he and Travis, 34, do not get nearly as much attention as the “Cruel Summer” singer, also 34, despite being pro athletes.
Jason then went on to gush over Swift’s “ridiculous” level of talent following her 2024 MTV Video Music Awards wins on Wednesday.
“She is, like, so talented it’s ridiculous. Not only as a singer, a songwriter, production-wise, like, she’s so involved in every facet of it,” he raved.
The new ESPN analyst believes the Grammy winner is comparable to any other major artist who has had a lasting legacy in the music industry.
When I think of, like, big names in music that have sustained over such a long time, and the way she has [fame], it feels like all of them kind of get to that. She’s at that, like, Bruce Springsteen [level] — like, tied,” he began.
