“I feel insulted”…Travis Kelce has called out Hannah Berner for making jest of his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, on a comedy show. Expressing his anger, Travis said “Hannah Berner went to far and I feel insulted by this”

Hannah Berner, a stand-up comedian, has recently sparked controversy on social media because of the remarks she made about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. On Netflix’s Torching 2024: A Roast of the Year on January 2, Berner joked that Kelce was similar to Luigi Mangione who is the accused killer of the UnitedHealthcare CEO. She stated:

Luigi is so hot right now. Who knew – besides Travis Kelce – that you could become so popular with women by shooting loads into a billionaire?”

Besides referring to discharging a gun, the sentence also contained a more s*xual implication. The joke primarily implied that his fame was mainly due to his association with Swift, an international celebrity and billionaire.

Swift’s fan base did not take the joke well. As soon as the clip of the show went viral on X, Swifties took to the social media platform to express their opinion about the same.

They flooded the comment section of X user @strawblushlor’s post and said that the comment was “wildly inappropriate.”

“Not to be too woke but that was wildly inappropriate,” wrote one user, sharing a small clip of the act.

Reducing Taylor to her past relationships is wrong, but doing it in a way that objectifies her is outright vile,” one user commented.

“For me it was too low when they brought out the “ghost” of the murd#red UHC CEO for a weak attempt at comedy. Trash!!” another one said, addressing a point during the act.

The audience didn’t seem to laugh much and reacted more with a shocked emotion lol,” another one speculated.
However, not everyone found the joke to be offensive, instead they found it funny. Stating the same, one X user said that since it was a roast, people should not have a problem with what was said.

“It’s a roast. What did you expect? G-rated feel good comedy?” another one commented, sarcastically.
