Police investigating a ‘major’ accident that took place in northeast Dallas are believed to be looking for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice, according to local news reports.
At around 6:20 p.m, on Saturday evening, a vehicle registered to the rookie receiver was involved in a crash on North Central Expressway, near Rice’s alma mater SMU.
According to The Dallas Morning News, law enforcement officials confirmed police were looking for Rice – with a police call sheet confirming he was being sought in connection with the accident. Any alleged involvement of Rice in the incident is unclear, and details around the incident are currently unknown.
The vehicle involved in the crash is registered in his name so police are attempting to get in contact with the 23-year-old. Rice had not appeared in Dallas County jail record as of 7 a.m. ET on Sunday.
