Scott Swift father of pop sensation Taylor Swift, has been cleared of allegations of assaulting a photographer during his daughter’s Eras Tour in Australia. Photographer Ben McDonald accused Scott of punching him during a concert afterparty in Sydney.

A spokesperson for Taylor Swift provided further context, indicating that their camp had faced threats from multiple individuals following the incident.

Officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command have conducted an investigation following a report of an assault at Neutral Bay Wharf about 2.30am on Tuesday 27 February 2024,” an NSW Police Force spokesperson told Billboard.

The younger man reported the incident and inquiries are now underway by officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command. The man did not require medical treatment.”
