Breaking News : Andy Reid and Mahomes are at war with Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who signs with the team looking to topple the Chiefs dynasty.
Last season, wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling wasn’t able to play as many minutes as he wanted for the Kansas City Chiefs.. Now that a new season is getting ready to start after the summer, this player made the decision to leave Kansas and make a switch to play for a new team. Amongst the many different reasons he decided to leave, Valdes-Scantling felt like he didn’t get the activity he wanted at the Chiefs under coach Andy Reid’s commands. During the two seasons he played there, the WR managed to be part of 10 games and only got 21 receptions with 315 receiving yards and one touchdown. Valdes-Scantling clearly feels he neds more participation and decided accordingly on Tuesday, May 14.
According to both Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, Marquez Valdes-Scantling has made the decision to sign a new contract with a different team. Despite having won two Super Bowl rings with the Kansas City Chiefs already with a 16-yard touchdown pass included at the Super Bowl LVIII. Scantling has made the decision to leave his team and sign for the Buffalo Bills for one season. He started his career at the Green Bay Packers and spent four seasons there before moving to the Chiefs. Although activity on the field has been scarce, we are still talking about a talented wide receiver who has a lot to offer to any team he represents.
