Blake Lively’s ‘Top Spot’ in Taylor Swift’s Girl Squad Is in Danger—Is She Getting Kicked Out?

Taylor Swift and Blake Lively are keeping it mum when it comes to their friendship. The two have been the subject of various reports whether they’re friends or not amid Lively’s legal battle with Justin Baldoni.
For those not caught up with the drama with the (former) BFFS, Taylor Swift was reportedly roped into the Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively lawsuits by the Gossip Girl actress.
The tension arose after text messages emerged in Justin Baldoni’s countersuit against Lively, where the actress allegedly referred to Swift as one of her “dragons” alongside husband Ryan Reynolds. Sources close to Swift told TMZ she was “royally pissed off” about being characterized this way, especially since she “never had a dog in the fight.”
Did Taylor Swift forgive Blake Lively?
Taylor Swift seemingly forgave Blake Lively. A source told Deuxmoi that Lively was “mortified at how the text message reads out of context and did reach out to Taylor to apologize.” They also said that Taylor was reportedly not happy about being dragged into the legal battle and being referred to as the It Ends With Us star’s “dragon,” she has allegedly accepted Lively’s apology for the controversial text message.
Other reports contradict DeuxMoi’s report. RadarOnline reported that Blake Lively is “booted” from her top spot in her “girl squad.” The source said, “Everyone has heard about this issue with Taylor and Blake, so there is a sense of the squad circling the wagons.” According to RadarOnline’s source, Selena Gomez made plans for the two to reconcile, but Swift was seen with Gomez sans Lively. “Selena rushed to arrange a girls’ night out for the two of them,” the source said. “She wanted to show her solidarity, but no doubt she was staking her claim.”
However, DeuxMoi’s source also says, “She’s SO over people speculating about who is in her ‘girl squad’ and who she might be fighting with.” They also noted that The Tortured Poets Department singer would just like to be “excluded from this narrative.”Will we see the resurgence of the Girl Squad soon in all of its glory? Maybe in the far future.
