Leicester Square was transformed into a landmark fit for a Hollywood queen on Thursday evening as Blake Lively celebrated the release of new film It Ends With Us in central London.
The American actress has taken on a whirlwind promotional missive on behalf of the movie, a romantic-drama based on the 2016 novel by Colleen Hoover.
And with London her latest pitstop, Lively, 36, pulled out all the stops ahead of the film’s UK premiere at Odeon Luxe after a day of back-to-back interviews – and an ever-revolving wardrobe of couture outfits.
The actress looked stunning in another elegant floral gown – a recurring theme during her current promotional tour and her fifth outfit of the day – while greeting onlookers at the event.
The tasteful fitted floor-length Tamara Ralph dress, worth £30,000, featured distinctive Bardot detailing and a plunging front that partially exposed her cleavage.
The dress was adorned with crystal mesh petals, featuring a crystal orchid and cherry blossom neckline.
The look featured is from the designer’s latest Autumn-Winter 2024/2025 couture collection, presented earlier this summer in Paris during Haute Couture fashion week.
The actress completed her look with a striking scarlet feather shawl, while glittering silver heels were visible beneath her floor-length hemline as she made her way across the white carpet.
This Ends With Us centres on Lively’s Lily, a flower shop owner who finds herself in the middle of a complicated love triangle between hunky neurosurgeon Ryle – Justin Baldoni, who also directs – and her hunky high school sweetheart, Atlas, played with hangdog cuteness by Brandon Sklenar.
But when Ryle’s violent outburst leads her to fear he may be an abusive partner, she turns to Atlas for help after they reconnect when she runs into him at a restaurant he works at.
The film is based on the best-selling romance novel of the same name by Colleen Hoover, which was a hit with readers after it was published in 2016.
After being pushed back multiple times, the film’s release date was set for August 9 of this year.
